Bartender/Server

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic team at our restaurant. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting and make a lasting impression on our customers.

Duties:
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve drinks according to our menu and recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste
- Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system, including the Aloha POS
- Provide exceptional customer service, including handling complaints and resolving issues
- Work effectively in a team environment, providing support to other staff members as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and education to improve knowledge of food and beverage options
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests, including ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with banquets and other special events as needed
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately
- Perform basic math calculations, including counting change and making change
- Provide help and assistance to guests with menu items and restaurant operations
- Maintain a high level of retail math skills to accurately manage cash and credit transactions

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related field
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment
- Familiarity with the Aloha POS system
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Friendly and helpful demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
- Food handling certification
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $12.00 per hour
