Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, utilizing POS systems such as Squirrel POS or Micros POS for order processing.
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering events, banquets, or special night club functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills by efficiently balancing multiple tables or bar orders during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Squirrel POS or Micros POS; experience with retail math or hospitality software is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or upscale restaurants.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations to ensure responsible beverage service.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
• Experience in hospitality-related roles is beneficial; familiarity with catering or banquet operations is a plus. Pay: $16.67 - $17.00 per hour
