Bartender/Server

Northern Pines Restaurant is a locally loved dining destination in Flagstaff, known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and great drinks. We’re looking for a versatile and team-oriented Bartender/Server to join our staff and deliver outstanding guest experiences both behind the bar and on the floor.

Job Summary:
As a Bartender/Server, you will split responsibilities between bartending and table service. You’ll prepare beverages, take food and drink orders, and ensure every guest receives friendly and efficient service. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take guest orders and provide full table service when needed
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately
• Engage with guests and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and dining areas
• Verify IDs and comply with all alcohol service laws
• Process payments and handle cash responsibly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of bartending and/or serving experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Arizona Title 4 certification (or willingness to obtain)
