Bartender/server

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing bar and dining operations efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, POS systems, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience is highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management, sales skills, and food safety awareness to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS system.
• Take food and drink orders from guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
• Assist with catering events as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts.
• Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety procedures to ensure guest safety.

Requirements

• Experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekdays, weekends.
