Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Skills

• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
• Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with fine dining service standards is a plus.
• Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately.
• Proficiency in retail math for managing bar inventory effectively.
• Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required.
