Core Responsibilities
- Beverage & Food Service: Prepare and serve classic cocktails, mixed drinks, and micro-local offerings with precision. In some locations, this also includes preparing and cooking bar food items.
- Guest Engagement: Welcome travelers in a genuine, friendly manner, providing personalized recommendations and anticipating their needs.
- Operational Management: Maintain bar cleanliness, stock supplies (glassware, ice, paper products), and perform opening/closing duties such as counting the bank and completing cashier reports.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly verify guest identification for legal age and monitor consumption to prevent over-service, adhering to all state and local liquor laws.
- Administrative Tasks: Accurately process all payment methods through POS systems (TOAST) and resolve any financial discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of one to two years of bartending experience in a high-volume or hotel environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of spirits, wines, and cocktail recipes, along with basic math skills for cash handling.
- Certifications: Most roles require a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or state-mandated alcohol server permit.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for entire shifts and lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., glass racks, beverage containers)
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
