Bartending Expert

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

The position includes bartending duties on all 3 floors of the historic Castle building located in downtown Rochester. This is a fast paced position with a high income earning potential in tips with our affluent clientele. Must be well spoken and well polished to meet the needs of our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering services for events as needed.
• Uphold a positive atmosphere in the nightclub environment by interacting with guests in a friendly manner.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience in catering services is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy nightclub setting while maintaining professionalism.
