Building Automation Technical Support Specialist – Remote (U.S. Based)
Excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking to work from the comfort of home while providing remote diagnostics and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians and end-users nationwide. This fully remote position is open to candidates located in states from Colorado west, and TX.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience, with a target of $125,000-$130,000 annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage incoming requests for field support utilizing application knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls.

Resolve product information inquiries and troubleshoot product issues independently or through an escalation process.

Demonstrate expertise in device networking, product setup, application support, debugging, and programming.

Accurately document all incoming support requests and feedback within the company’s call tracking system in a timely and professional manner.

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining responsiveness and follow-through.

Travel as needed, approximately 40-50% of the time to assist with technical presentations or provide onsite support for clients.
Education and/or Experience Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, Control Systems, or related technical discipline preferred.

Proven experience supporting or working with HVAC systems, controls, and building automation technologies.

Strong understanding of HVAC controls, digital systems, and networking concepts.

Niagara AX/N4 experience or certification strongly preferred.

Experience in field application engineering, technical troubleshooting, and customer support is highly desirable.

Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent follow-through, and a consistently professional and supportive attitude.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:

Design/Development Engineering in HVAC Digital Controls

Field Application Engineering and Support of HVAC Controls and Digital Systems
Language and Mathematical Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents and instructions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with customers and internal staff in one-on-one and small group settings.

Must maintain a proactive, positive, and customer-focused attitude.

Ability to perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, percentages, and advanced technical calculations.
