Base Dispatcher - Kauai

The Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, timely, and high-quality execution of daily operations by providing accurate information, clear instructions, and maintaining continuous communication with management, staff, and customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, dispatch, administration, or hospitality, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers by coordinating daily operations effectively.
• Establish check-in times, organize schedules, and ensure all necessary materials are prepared.
• Maintain open communication with staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Pay close attention to special instructions and details.
• Monitor local events, road closures, and traffic conditions to prevent service disruptions.
• Coordinate lunch orders and admissions with vendors.
• Regularly update the reservations system.

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with local roads and landmarks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
• Ability to build positive relationships with employees and customers in a professional and approachable manner.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to identify problems, gather information, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
