Basketball Coach

About the role:

PSA Academy is one of the UAE's leading multi-sport coaching organisations, operating across 9+ locations in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. We are growing our basketball programme and looking for a passionate, qualified coach to deliver high-quality sessions to students of all ages and abilities.

You will plan and deliver structured training sessions, track student progress, communicate with parents, and uphold PSA Academy's standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging basketball sessions for youth and adult students across multiple venues

- Complete student assessment sheets and maintain accurate attendance records via our academy platform

- Communicate student progress to parents in a professional and timely manner

- Uphold all academy safety policies and maintain a positive coaching environment

- Support academy events, trials, and tournaments as required

- Report to operations management and comply with scheduling and attendance requirements.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of basketball coaching experience (youth coaching preferred)

- Recognised basketball coaching qualification (FIBA, NBA Academy, or national equivalent)

- Ability to coach multiple age groups and skill levels

- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

- Valid UAE residency visa or eligibility for employer sponsorship

- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
