The Candidate

We are looking for a Full-time Basketball Coach to deliver sessions in our extra-curricular and external clubs.

Job Responsibilities

· To complete the necessary planning and preparation prior to the session and liaise with other coaches/colleagues as needed.

· To provide positive, fun and safe coaching sessions.

· Responsible for the safeguarding and protection of all children.

· Communicate effectively with parents regarding child's progress.

Job Requirement

· A Sport related Degree / level 2 coaching qualification

· Proven experience as Basketball coach

· Experience in the sports coaching and/or education sector.

· Experience working with students aged 3-16 years.

· An enhanced CRB/DBS check.

· Safeguarding & Protecting Children Certificate.

· First Aid qualified.

· Good communication and organisational skills.

· Driving Licence.

· Proficient in MS Office.

· Good leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team

· Good interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and other members of staff

· Ability to understand the learning process and training principles

· Ability to motivate and assist children to develop new skills safely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼9,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
