Bath and Kitchen Designer

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong understanding of kitchen layouts, functionality, and aesthetics. This role involves collaborating with clients to create beautiful and functional kitchen spaces that meet their needs and preferences. You will utilize various design software tools to bring your concepts to life while managing projects from initial consultation through to completion.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for kitchen renovations and designs.
• Create detailed kitchen designs using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or 2020.
• Prepare project documentation including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Conduct site measurements and assessments to inform design decisions.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, lighting design, and color theory.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers throughout the renovation process.
• Stay updated on industry trends in kitchen design, construction techniques, and materials.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for presentations and marketing materials.
• Assist in sales efforts by showcasing designs to potential clients.

Experience

• Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong background in interior design with an emphasis on kitchen layouts and functionality.
• Experience in project management within the renovation or construction industry.
• Knowledge of drafting techniques and CAD applications is essential.
• Familiarity with contracts related to construction projects is a plus.
• Previous experience in lighting sales or lighting design is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members while maintaining excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
