Bath and Kitchen Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet our clients' needs and preferences. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget. Your expertise in design software and knowledge of construction processes will be essential in bringing innovative kitchen designs to life.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for kitchen design.
• Create detailed kitchen layouts using design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Develop 3D renderings and visual presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop.
• Prepare project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather measurements for accurate design planning.
• Provide guidance on materials, finishes, lighting design, and color theory to enhance the overall aesthetic of the kitchen.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers throughout the renovation or remodeling process to ensure successful project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to kitchen design.

Requirements

• Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Bluebeam, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, drafting techniques, and construction processes.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting practices related to kitchen renovation projects.
• Experience in sales or lighting sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with contracts related to design services is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• A keen eye for detail with a passion for creating functional yet stylish kitchen spaces.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $800.00 - $1,250.00 per week
