Bathroom Fitter

Overview

Haus Maintenance is looking for an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join our growing team, working mainly across London, Kent, Essex and Surrey.

We specialise in complete bathroom renovations from start to finish, with a strong focus on high quality plumbing and installation. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing and bathroom installations, with strong knowledge of hot and cold water systems, waste pipework, first fix and second fix plumbing and general heating system knowledge.

This role is mainly focused on the plumbing and general building side of full bathroom renovations.

You must be confident completing all plumbing work required within a bathroom installation, as well as any ongoing bathroom maintenance. Tiling knowledge is not required, but it would be a bonus if you are able to tile to a good standard.

Most of our work is based in London, usually around 75% or more, but you must also be willing to travel into Kent, Essex and Surrey around 25% of the time when needed.

Duties
Complete high end bathroom renovations to a high standard, mainly focusing on the plumbing and general building side.

Carry out first fix and second fix plumbing for hot and cold water systems and waste pipework. Install baths, showers, toilets, basins, vanity units, taps and bathroom furniture with care and precision.

Carry out plumbing maintenance work where required.

Prepare bathrooms ready for tiling, including plasterboarding walls and ceilings where needed.

Carry out basic carpentry and general building work, including wall panelling, boxing in pipework, studwork and making good.

Work cleanly, efficiently and respectfully in customers’ homes.

Represent Our Company in a professional manner on every job.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing and bathroom installations.

Strong plumbing knowledge is essential.

Confident in full bathroom first fix and second fix plumbing.

Good knowledge of hot and cold water systems and waste pipework.

Able to carry out general building and bathroom preparation work.

Tiling experience is not required, but would be a bonus.

Reliable, tidy and professional.

Own tools preferred but not necessary.

Driving licence required.

CSCS Card Required.

Gas Safety Certificate register, would be a bonus

Must be willing to travel around London and the other areas when required.

Pay: £150.00-£250.00 per day
