Bathroom Fitter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and fittings in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates must be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Must be able to use levelling clips and tile large format tiles.

Responsibilities

• Installing bathroom fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs with precision and care
• Repairing or replacing damaged or outdated bathroom fittings and plumbing systems
• Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
• Reading technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
• Conducting inspections to verify the quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repairs
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and health & safety regulations
• Collaborating with clients and team members to deliver projects on time and within scope

Experience

• Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, or general construction work is highly desirable
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
• Mechanical knowledge related to bathroom fittings and fixtures
• Ability to perform basic maths for measurements and calculations during installations
• Experience with commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials between sites
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures relevant to construction environments
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting tasks and working in confined spaces or at heights

Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Prior experience in similar roles will be advantageous for success in this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Self-employed

Pay: £190.00-£220.00 per day
