Job Summary:

The Battery Dispatch Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations by accurately processing customer orders, coordinating technician schedules, and managing battery inventory across depots and vehicles. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and update all customer orders in the system with complete and accurate details, including client, location, item, and service.
• Create, maintain, and update technician rosters, ensuring appropriate shift assignments and availability management.
• Load job assignments into technicians’ daily schedules and ensure proper communication of assigned tasks.
• Monitor and manage battery inventory levels at depots and technician vehicles to ensure stock sufficiency for operations.
• Assign orders to technicians strategically based on location, expertise, and workload to optimize efficiency and response time.
• Coordinate with the operations and warehouse teams to resolve dispatch or inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders, technician performance, and inventory movement.
• Support continuous improvement in dispatching processes and workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in dispatch coordination, operations, or logistics (automotive service experience preferred).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in using dispatch or CRM systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive batteries or related services is an advantage.
