Overall Purpose of the Job

To manage the implementation & use of Salesforce database & coordinate BD reporting. Maintain the database ensuring quality of data maintained & train & give guidance to super-users of the system. Introduce & roll out any additional system features & prepare literature, videos, training material etc for users.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

1. Review, assess & customise Salesforce database layout & opportunity data entry fields on a continuous basis to ensure that all information required by business can be extracted in report format.

2. Review, assess & update Salesforce dashboards & reports for area of responsibility with pertinent information to assist with management of respective businesses & financial planning.

3. Provide Management reports on the opportunity portfolio, order back log, forecasts, risked revenue, contribution forecasts, indicative capital expenditure forecasts, risked & full values of priced enquiry book, key opportunities & status, bid win rates & analysis & regional product line trends etc.

4. Monitor the use of Salesforce within the Regions & Product Lines by tracking usage & providing reports on activity & contribution. Liaise the Regions & Product lines where necessary to address obvious competency or usage gaps

5. Act as custodian of Salesforce data quality. Monitor data within Salesforce to ensure completeness & attention to detail. Run regular reports to highlight data that is obsolete & needs to be cleaned up. Follow up to ensure action taken

6. Provide system support & training as requested including help sheets, user manual, help videos, plus manage Expro user log in & access right requests

7. Interact with & advise Salesforce super-users. Clearly define super-user role & prepare & issue agenda & chair monthly meeting with them. Conduct system training which may take the form of formal classroom sessions or Webex master classes

8. Act as primary interface between Expro & Salesforce regarding the system. Liaise on licence status, product development software upgrades, technical support etc

9. Introduce & rollout additional systems features such as market share analysis competitor tracking client relationship management etc as & when necessary

10. Build & maintain a system support site on the Expro portal where Salesforce users will be able to access on line training & reference material including FAQ & QRC for common data entry & reports.

11. Build & maintain a portal site for corporate market intelligence reports (Spears, Douglas Westwood, Barclays, RigZone etc) & coordinate with regions to use site as the repository for a regional market intelligence data & reports. It will also include sections for monthly & quarterly reporting ,Group BD tools & systems (Xiat Porter, Infopath etc) Society of petroleum Engineers & other initiatives

12. Prepare monthly reports sales & marketing report, quarterly Market leading indicator report, monthly global account manager’s report, monthly customer perspectives section of the Group Balance Scorecard. These reports to be continually developed & improved to align with business requirements

13. Coordinate Export activity with regards to SPE including SPE events calendar review & approval of Export SPE papers SPE paper remuneration policy &d quarterly SPE paper statistics

14. Coordinate the compilation of market surveys, pre-qualification, vendor questionnaires, expressions of interests, proposals & other client requested material

15. Work with the Product lines & Regions to develop on-line Price books for each Product Line & develop on line sales kits comprising standard & internal product awareness & external sales presentations, pricing guidelines & features & benefit analysis

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

1. Degree or professional qualification

2. 5+ years previous experience in similar role

3. Experience with Salesforce data base essential 4. Highly proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
