BDM – Cooling Tower: Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for cooling towers (FRP/wooden/industrial cooling systems).
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and site visits.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals to clients.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with EPCs, OEMs, consultants, contractors, and end-users.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to convert enquiries into orders.
- Provide timely support and resolve customer queries related to product selection, pricing, and service.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and product developments.
- Identify potential industry segments (HVAC, chemical plants, power plants, pharma, food processing, etc.).
- Provide market intelligence to management for strategic planning.
4. Technical & Product Expertise
- Understand technical specifications of cooling towers, components, and performance parameters.
- Suggest suitable models/designs based on heat load, water flow, temperature requirements, etc.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams for customized solutions.
5. Proposal & Tender Management
- Study RFQs, tender documents, and project requirements.
- Prepare quotations, techno-commercial bids, and compliance statements.
- Participate in tender submissions, negotiations, and order finalization.
6. Coordination & Project Handover
- Work closely with execution, service, logistics, and accounts teams for order processing.
- Ensure proper order handover with all documentation and customer expectations clearly defined.
- Track project installation timelines and ensure client satisfaction.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain CRM data, enquiry records, and sales pipelines.
- Submit weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Provide strategic inputs during team meetings.
8. After-Sales Support (Coordination Role)
- Ensure customers receive after-sales service support.
- Address issues related to performance, warranty, or maintenance through the service team.
