Job Summary:
We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) for our Home Solution Division. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in a managerial role within the retail industry, with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of team management. This role involves leading a sales/service team and actively visiting construction sites, builder locations, and project sites to promote our range of home solution products (such as appliances, fittings, fixtures, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales and customer service executives
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and housing sector
- Regularly visit construction sites, builder offices, and project locations for product marketing and relationship building
- Plan and execute marketing strategies to promote home solution products
- Maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, interior designers, and project managers
- Monitor and drive team performance against monthly sales and service targets
- Conduct training sessions for team members on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and after-sales service teams to ensure smooth customer experience
- Prepare and present weekly reports on business development activities to senior management
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of managerial experience in retail sales or business development
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in marketing or selling to the construction or real estate sector is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently to construction/project sites
- Strong knowledge of home improvement/home solution products preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet business goals
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools)
