Beach Lifeguard

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Beach Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of guests using the beach and swimming areas. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, alert, and trained in water rescue and first aid, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor beach and swimming areas continuously to ensure guest safety.
• Enforce beach safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Respond promptly to water-related emergencies and perform rescues when necessary.
• Administer first aid and CPR as required.
• Conduct regular inspections of beach areas, safety equipment, and rescue tools.
• Provide safety information and guidance to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with crowd control and ensure safe swimming zones are maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of lifeguard equipment.
• Support other recreational or water activity operations when required.

Requirements:

• Valid Open water/ Beach Lifeguard Certification.
• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Previous experience as a Beach Lifeguard is preferred.
• Ability to remain alert for extended periods and work under varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in hotels and resorts.
• Knowledge of local beach safety regulations and rescue procedures.
• Multilingual skills are an advantage.
