BEAM MACHINE OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate beam-related machinery (e.g., panel beam saws, laminating beam machines, or cutting systems)
• Load raw materials such as wood panels, MDF, plywood, or laminates
• Cut, shape, or prepare beams and panels according to design specifications
• Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, and smooth finishes
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings for efficiency and quality
• Inspect finished parts for defects, damage, or dimensional errors
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and use PPE

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification in woodworking or machinery
• Experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking machinery preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings and cutting lists
• Basic knowledge of materials like MDF, plywood, veneer, and laminates
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and precision
• Good physical condition (handling heavy boards and standing long hours)

Work Environment

• Furniture factory or woodworking facility
• Exposure to wood dust, noise, and machinery
• Requires safety gear such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection

• Edge preparation or support beam equipment
