We’re hiring an experienced Beauty Buyer (gn) to lead and manage the Beauty Category for a luxury department store in Qatar – with full commercial ownership, strategic responsibility and direct supplier relationships. This role is ideal for ambitious buyers ready to step into a high-impact position within a fast-paced and expanding luxury retail environment.

🔍 What you’ll do

• Lead the Beauty Category – own the product strategy, assortment, pricing and brand mix
• Take full responsibility for sales, margin, stock, and commercial KPIs within your category
• Negotiate with over 50 international beauty suppliers and distributors
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Retail, Marketing, VM, Legal, Logistics & Finance
• Monitor trends, market movement and competitors to keep the assortment cutting-edge
• Coach and support the Buying Administration team
• Represent our client in supplier and brand meetings at the highest level
• Work closely with the Head of Buying and contribute to category expansion across the region

💼 What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of buying experience in a department store environment, thereof at least one year in Beauty
• Strong commercial mindset and experience managing a full category P&L
• Confident negotiator with a solid supplier and brand network
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, detail-oriented and analytical
• Strong communicator with international experience; fluency in English is required
• French is a plus – cultural knowledge of the Middle East (especially Qatar) is welcome
• Positive energy, natural leadership, and a love for beauty retail
