Beauty Category Intern

Job Overview

We are seeking a Beauty Category Intern to support the Beauty team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving category performance. The role will involve day to day operational support across product management, merchandising and marketing initiatives for the beauty category, working closely with cross functional teams to ensure accurate execution and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager and Buying team with product onboarding, cataloguing and enrichment to ensure accurate product data and compelling product pages.
• Assist with day to day merchandising tasks including updating assortments, creating featured edits and maintaining category pages.
• Help prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and basic analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Content teams to support campaign execution, product shoots and content uploads.
• Contribute to competitor and market research to support assortment planning and pricing decisions.
• Build client ready presentation materials, lookbooks and product collections aligned with brand and category guidelines.
• Maintain trackers for stock, launches, sample circulation and project statuses.
• Support sample management including receipt, logging, distribution and returns.
• Assist with quality control checks for imagery, descriptions and ingredients/allergen information to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Support cross functional requests from Customer Service, Operations and Partnerships as required.

What We're Looking For

• Recent graduate or current student studying Business, Marketing, Fashion, Beauty or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets for trackers and basic reporting.
• Good written communication skills for internal and supplier correspondence.
• Basic design or presentation skills using PowerPoint, Google Slides or Canva are a plus.
• Interest in beauty and skincare trends with an awareness of brands and product categories.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to work effectively across teams.
• High levels of discretion when handling sensitive product or commercial information.
