Beauty Salon Back of House Assistant

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Back of House Assistant, you will help ensure the studio runs smoothly and treatments are delivered at the highest level. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing treatment bays and rooms before every appointment
• Assisting artists to ensure treatments meet Brau’s quality standards
• Sanitising all tools, machines, and equipment to maintain strict hygiene protocols
• Replenishing treatment materials and maintaining BOH organisation throughout the day
• Conducting daily cleaning and ensuring the salon remains spotless
• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders with suppliers when required
• Offering welcome drinks, amenities, and creating small moments that surprise & delight guests
• Assisting guests with consultation forms and escorting them to treatment rooms
• Supporting the reception desk when needed
• Completing opening and closing procedures and daily BOH checklists
• Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring they are resolved promptly
• Handling guest questions or concerns with professionalism
• Communicating any incidents or important updates to management
• Supporting in events, meetings, or other operational tasks when required
• Coordinating with suppliers for maintenance or BOH-related needs
• Working confidently without constant supervision while maintaining a positive attitude

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a back-of-house, salon operations, or hospitality support role
• Highly organised and structured with strong attention to detail
• Proficient using salon software and reporting tools
• Flexible with working days and shifts
• Knowledge of beauty services, products, treatment protocols, and hygiene standards
• A proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to creating exceptional client experiences
