Before & After School Program Teacher (Part-Time)

Job Summary
LTCC - Learning Together Childcare Center is looking for a reliable and energetic Before & After School Program Teacher to work with school-age students in a fun and supportive learning environment. This part-time position includes supervising students, helping with homework, and creating engaging activities such as arts and crafts, reading, and math support.

Schedule:
Before School Program: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
After School Program: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in a safe and supportive environment
• Design and implement creative activities, including arts and crafts
• Plan age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Provide homework support, including reading and math assistance
• Implement behavior management strategies to support student learning and growth
• Assist with classroom organization and daily routines
• Incorporate physical and active play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Follow health and safety guidelines and be prepared to administer first aid when necessary
• Be punctual and maintain reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk frequently throughout the day
• Ability to sit on the floor and interact with students at their level
• Ability to participate in active play and movement with students
• Ability to assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and general maintenance

Requirements

• Experience in behavior management and classroom management is preferred
• Knowledge of childcare best practices
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is desirable

• Organized and willing to help maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
