Allied Pediatric Therapy Clinic, powered by Finni Health, is looking for compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians to join our growing team in Hoover, AL. This role is perfect for students or anyone interested in careers in psychology, education, special education, social work, or healthcare.

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that helps children build life skills, communication, and independence.

You’ll work one-on-one with children and their families, helping them learn new skills and celebrate important milestones along the way.

What You'll Do

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home

  • Work one-on-one with children using ABA therapy techniques

  • Collect and record data on child behaviors and progress

  • Collaborate closely with BCBAs and clinical team members

  • Attend team meetings to share experiences, collaborate, and help improve care

  • Help create a fun, engaging environment that supports skill-building and confidence

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working with children (childcare, teaching, coaching, etc.) preferred

  • Passion for supporting children with autism and special needs

  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes

  • Ability to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days of hire (we provide training and support!)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods

  • Comfortable sitting on the floor and engaging in play-based activities
