Behavioral Health Division/Department of Health and Human Services - Remote within North Dakota - Procurement and Contracting Administrator
We're looking for a Procurement and Contracting Administrator to strengthen systems and processes that ensure the Behavioral Health Division operates efficiently and effectively. In this role, you'll bring your expertise to building tools, ensuring compliance, and supporting staff with the contracting and procurement resources they need to deliver critical services.
As a Procurement and Contracting Administrator, you will serve as a technical liaison between the Behavioral Health Division and the Department's Procurement and Contracting Office. This role centers on developing and maintaining systems and processes that ensure compliance, efficiency, and transparency in procurement and contracting activities. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining filing and records management systems in SharePoint and implementing quality control processes to strengthen procurement and contract management practices.
To thrive in this role, you should bring strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse decision-making environments. You must be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and skilled at identifying creative solutions. Relationship building is essential-you will partner with colleagues across the Behavioral Health Division and the Department while working both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and in presentations - are required. Some travel may be expected.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field AND experience in procurement law and/or contracting administration.
