Facility: Ascension St. Vincent - Stress Center - Hamilton Southeastern Schools
Schedule: Full Time - 40 hr/wk - Day Shift - Hours for this position will vary but
Department/Specialty: School Therapy Program | Monday-Friday and generally will fall within the hours of 7am and 5pm.
What You Will Do:
Supervise the behavioral health program including the School Therapist Program.

Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.

Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Apply progressive discipline when appropriate. Participate in hiring and termination procedures.

Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes.

Participate in direct delivery of care depending on patient census. Complete patient evaluations and treatments as needed.

Direct, oversee, coordinate, and control the admission, customer service representatives, and case management departments in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; regulatory agencies; and third-party payers.

One or more of the following required:

Clinical Counselor obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Counselor credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Psychologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
-
Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Social Worker credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
-
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
Eligible candidates must have a master’s in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field and must have a FULL license as a LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW.
This position is for a supervisor who will be responsible for managing the counseling and behavioral tech associates who are placed in Hamilton Southeastern Schools who are providing outpatient therapy and skills training to individuals, families, and couples.
Eligible candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience providing mental health therapy including specific experience working with youth patients.
Preferred candidates would also have supervision and/or other commensurate leadership experience.
This is a year round position.
