The Bellman is responsible for providing warm, efficient, and professional assistance to guests upon arrival and departure. The role includes handling luggage, escorting guests, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage loading and unloading.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and ensure their comfort.
  • Handle luggage storage, retrieval, and safe delivery to guest rooms.
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, directions, and general information.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Assist with valet services if required (subject to hotel policy).
  • Ensure all guests receive a welcoming and memorable first impression.
  • Uphold safety and security procedures while handling luggage and equipment.
  • Support Front Office operations during busy periods.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Bellman or in guest services is an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage safely.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and hotel facilities.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
