Bench Jeweler - Clean Up / Pre-Polish (Luxury Jewelry Manufacturing)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler specializing in clean-up and pre-polish of castings to join our production team. This is a full-time, in-house bench position working with gold and platinum jewelry in a professional manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean up and refine raw cast jewelry components
• Pre-polish pieces in preparation for final polishing and stone setting
• Remove casting sprues and excess metal
• Smooth and prepare surfaces using hand tools and polishing equipment
• Ensure pieces meet quality standards before moving to the next production stage
• Work with gold and platinum jewelry components
• Maintain consistency and quality across production batches
• Collaborate with other departments including polishing and stone setting

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years bench jeweler experience
• Experience cleaning up raw cast jewelry
• Experience working with gold and platinum
• Strong hand fabrication and finishing skills
• Proficiency with jewelry bench tools and polishing equipment

Preferred

• Experience in a jewelry manufacturing environment
• Experience with laser welding
• Experience preparing pieces for stone setting
• Ability to work efficiently within a production workflow

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
