Summary:

Pfizer is seeking a motivated Bench Scientist to join their team in Pearl River, NY! The Bench Scientist will execute laboratory-based experiments that support scientific research, product development, and technical investigations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments using established scientific methods to support research and development objectives
• Prepare and analyze samples using appropriate instrumentation and techniques
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in compliance with GLP and internal standards
• Collaborate with scientists and project teams to troubleshoot issues and interpret data

Qualifications:

• Degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
• 0-2 years' experience required
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation relevant to the scientific discipline
• Ability to follow and adapt scientific protocols with attention to detail
• Strong documentation and data interpretation skills
• Effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams

Location/Schedule:

• This is an onsite role based in Pearl River, NY
• Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week

The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
