Summary/Objective:
Under the supervision of the Director of Benefits, this role involves managing the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of North Shore Health Benefits, requiring both strategic and administrative skills.

Essential Functions:
  • Benefit Structures: Lead operational management of Health Welfare, Retirement plans, Wellness programs, and Voluntary benefits.
  • Total Rewards Communications: Champion and communicate Total Rewards philosophies and design communication tools to enhance understanding.
  • Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors and ensure they meet performance standards and SLAs.
  • Plan Analysis: Evaluate and benchmark company benefits through surveys and industry comparisons.
  • Invoice Auditing: Review and audit benefit invoicing for accuracy.
  • Payroll Backup: Support the payroll team as needed.
  • Employee Point of Contact: Assist with meetings, enrollment, and advising on benefits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of five years’ experience in employer group benefits.
  • Proficient in English and Microsoft Office. CEBS and SHRM certifications are a plus.
