This internship is for students entering their senior year of undergraduate study who are on track to graduate in Spring 2027. The internship will be full-time through the summer and part-time through the school year.
The Benefits and Total Rewards Intern is an excellent opportunity for aspiring HR talent. This position is a combination of impactful project work in addition to learning and executing routine operational tasks. The Benefits and Total Rewards Intern will work in an award-winning HR team and report directly to the Senior Benefits Manager.

- Curiosity: Wants to expand their baseline benefits understanding.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the Benefits department by learning and understanding Janney’s full suite of benefits.
- Ability to field employee in-bound questions on benefits and workflows.
- Assist in creating and maintaining employee records in Dayforce HCMS.
- Support with onboarding documentation and conduct follow-ups to meet deadlines.
- Support key projects integral to the Benefits/Total Rewards function.
- Partner with Benefits team members on cross-functional projects, including data audits and invoice tracking.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
What you have:- Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Human Resources Management major preferred but not required)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Self motivated, eager to learn, and able to take initiative when completing tasks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete work accurately and on time
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Professional, reliable, and committed to supporting the HR team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Dayforce HCM) preferred but not required
