We are seeking a Benefits Manager with deep expertise in employee benefits strategy and administration to join our growing team in Livingston, NJ. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing benefit programs, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees alike, balancing compliance, cost management, and innovation in benefits offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership and Program Oversight

Partner closely with the VP of Benefits to design, implement, and continuously enhance employee benefit programs
Translate organizational priorities into strategies that drive retention, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness
Support presentation of benefits strategies, data, and recommendations to senior leadership

Compliance and Vendor Management

Ensure all programs comply with federal and state regulations (i.e., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, etc.)
Collaborate with leadership on vendor relationships, including carriers, brokers, and TPAs
Assist in negotiations, RFP processes, and evaluating vendor performance

Employee Support and Communications

Lead day-to-day employee support, resolving escalated benefits issues with care and professionalism
Create and deliver engaging communication for open enrollment and ongoing education
Train management and human resources on applicable new policies and updates

Qualifications and Experience

7+ years’ experience in employee benefits within an insurance brokerage
Strong understanding of benefits compliance, plan design, and vendor management
Proven ability to support and collaborate with senior leadership on benefits strategy
Proficiency in Applied Epic (preferred)
Valid Life & Health Insurance License (required)
