Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Benefit Specialist. As a Benefit Specialist, you will support operational staff and managers in member and/or employer services related to the administration of ETF's public employee benefit programs. You will need to learn complex benefit program requirements for eligibility, enrollment, benefit application and distribution processes. You will work with highly complex and sensitive data related to member demographics and benefit accounts and be responsible for updating changes. You will need to provide complex information in easy-to-understand formats for various audiences. Immediate assignments will be focused on supporting benefits administration technology modernization projects with research and remediation of data issues during conversions. At times, you may be assigned daily operational tasks such as processing Health, Life, Vision, and Dental Insurance including Medicare. This position will also include communicating with members on the phone and by sending email and/or letters.

Pay Rate: $25.50/hr

Location: Madison, WI | ***Depending on the candidate's preference and business need, remote work is available. However, presence in the office will be required for in office work and team meetings (usually no more than three times a month unless business needs require it). Only accepting candidates that are current WI residents. ***

  • Experience building or refining forecasting models using historical data and demand assumptions
  • Experience developing dashboards or partnering with business intelligence teams to enhance operational reporting
  • Basic familiarity with service optimization or workforce management software tools
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives
  • Experience working in a public sector, regulated, or benefits administration environment
