Beverage Manager – Seaspice
Seaspice is seeking an experienced and motivated Beverage Manager. This role is ideal for a leader with strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, inventory control, purchasing, and team development, who thrives in a high-volume, upscale hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience supporting a $12M+ annual sales environment
- Level 2 Certified Sommelier (preferred)
- Ability to curate a wine program that is thoughtful, functional, and financially successful
- Strong spirits knowledge and craft cocktail expertise
- Excellent understanding of beverage COGS, inventory control, and purchasing
- Multiple years of purchasing and vendor management experience
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams and driving sales
- A passion for training, education, and developing hospitality professionals
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, the Beverage Manager will oversee beverage operations at Seaspice, ensuring excellence in execution, cost management, staff training, and guest experience. This role will also support special events and off site activations when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily beverage program across all revenue centers at Seaspice
- Support beverage execution for special dinners, events, and off-site activations
- Assist with shift coverage and overall operational support when needed
- Coordinate with the Brand Director on beverage-related content and guest engagement
- Provide the Director of Special Events with beverage selections and pairing recommendations
- Place beverage orders in coordination with restaurant leadership and lead bartenders
- Receive and organize product deliveries with proper storage and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate stock levels across bars, lockers, and storage locations
- Update monthly perpetual inventory files and oversee invoice coding
- Oversee monthly inventory counts and beverage reporting
- Drive beverage sales through thoughtful programming and staff engagement
- Maintain beverage COGS targets across all beverage categories
- Ensure pricing is aligned with company goals and profitability standards
- Work with Lead Bartender to maintain a strong, current cocktail menu
- Support hiring, training, and promotion of beverage-focused staff
- Maintain beverage menus and materials with accuracy, minimal out-of-stocks, and zero typos
- Communicate operational concerns promptly to leadership
- Ensure compliance with partner and vendor agreements
- Maintain proper use and upkeep of beverage equipment
- Lead group and one-on-one beverage training for servers, bartenders, and managers
- Strong proficiency in Excel is required

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Beverage Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft cocktails, and beverage service standards
- Experience with beverage purchasing, inventory management, and cost control (COGS)
- Leadership experience managing and training beverage focused teams
- Sommelier certifications (Level 1 or Level 2) are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
