The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Intermediate supports ECRT in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment by managing, analyzing, and reporting on complex data within a compliance-driven setting. This role designs and delivers accurate and insightful reports, supports business systems and process improvements, and documents sensitive misconduct reports.

Data Analysis and Reporting - 40%

Leverage business intelligence software to design, create, export, and present data-driven qualitative and quantitative reports for a range of stakeholders to meet business and compliance needs.
- Create and maintain data dashboards to inform leadership groups.

Respond efficiently to high-volume internal and external vetting requests by accurately interpreting and sharing relevant information.

Regularly conduct audits of records to identify and correct gaps and contradictory data relationships to ensure accurate reporting.
Data Systems Development and Support - 30%

Design, model, and build data structures and mapping routines to address evolving data and reporting requirements for the office.

Collaborate with all ECRT teams and offices, including ECRT Dearborn, and ECRT Flint, to address diverse data needs.

Serve as a resource to database users, by providing system training. Mentor and support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Maintain up-to-date departmental application and process documentation as systems and workflows evolve.
Case Triaging & Workflow Analysis - 30%

Review, document, and analyze incoming misconduct reports, including those of a sensitive nature, for appropriate assignment to ECRT staff or referral response. Prepare case folders for incoming matters.

Evaluate incoming reports to requirements for additional reporting in accordance with standard process, legal, policy, or regulatory mandates.

Identify appropriate university or community resources to address concerns outside ECRT's purview, responding in a trauma-informed and empathetic manner.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

2-5 years of experience with database software, including database design, implementation, maintenance, and reporting

Experience managing investigative case management platforms

Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management

Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads

Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, and related tools

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
