BI Consultant

Role Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to apply expertise in developing, implementing, and delivering advanced business intelligence, data management, and analytics solutions. The role also drives the adoption of innovative cognitive technologies to support ASD’s strategic objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making and improving overall business performance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with end-users to understand business requirements, objectives, and challenges
• Gather, analyze, and transform raw data into actionable insights aligned with business goals
• Design and implement BI solutions, including reporting tools, dashboards, and data models, to meet end-user needs
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or similar platforms
• Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations to enhance business performance
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting best practices

Education and Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Analysis, Data Science, or a similar role
• Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or equivalent
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts
• Skilled in gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective technical solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
