Bright Horizons (Systems Plus) is seeking a visionary BI Architect - Lead to define and lead the technical strategy for enterprise analytics. This role focuses on enabling self-service reporting, custom analytics, and embedded BI experiences through a flexible, scalable, and future-ready architecture. The ideal candidate brings deep experience across modern BI platforms and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on user enablement, governance, innovation, and people leadership.
- Architect and evolve a scalable, tool-agnostic analytics framework that supports diverse reporting needs including self-service, custom dashboards, and embedded analytics.
- Define and implement standards for semantic modeling, governed data access, and report lifecycle management to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms.
- Design solutions that empower business users and analysts to explore and visualize data independently while maintaining governance and performance.
- Develop strategies for embedding analytics into enterprise applications and workflows using APIs and modular components.
- Integrate next-generation analytics concepts such as composable architecture, augmented analytics, and automated insight generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics solutions are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend BI platforms and technologies based on strategic fit, scalability, and user experience.
- Lead technical enablement efforts to promote best practices in dashboard design, performance optimization, and user adoption.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously evolve the BI architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to lead analytics and BI projects from concept to delivery, including planning, scoping and execution.
- Experience working in agile environments, managing backlogs, sprints, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Skilled in prioritizing technical initiatives, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of BI professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster growth and performance.
- Set clear goals and objectives for team members, monitor progress throughout the year, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the BI team.

15+ years of experience in BI architecture, enterprise analytics, and reporting strategy.

Proven experience with a variety of BI and analytics platforms including (but not limited to): Power BI, Qlik, Looker, Cube, GA4, Snowflake, Azure Fabric, Alteryx, and other modern tools.

Strong understanding of self-service BI enablement, custom reporting frameworks, and embedded analytics.

Expertise in designing semantic layers, governed datasets, and role-based access models.

Familiarity with API-based integrations, real-time reporting architectures, and data storytelling.

Advanced skills in Excel for reporting and data manipulation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Proven experience in people management, team leadership, and performance development.
- Exposure to Google Analytics 4, BigQuery, or other cloud-native analytics platforms.

- Certifications in BI tools, Snowflake, Fabric, or analytics strategy.
