Bicycle Shop Lead Mechanic

Are you looking for a change? Miller's is looking for a lead mechanic who can wear many hats in our bike shop. You will run the day-to-day operations of our bike shop and be 1responsible for service writing, repairs, tune-ups and more. You will report directly to the owner of the store.

Miller's is a full-service bike shop featuring Trek, Cannondale and more. The candidate must enjoy bicycling and understand the needs of bicyclists and their families. Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• bicycle assembly of all types of bikes
• complete master mechanic skill set for every type of bike including high-end road and mountain bikes
• tuning and set ups of mechanical and hydraulic disc brakes
• flat repairs, tire and wheel installs, brake and gear adjustments
• customer service, bicycle sales and general pleasantry

Our business is also a specialty toy store, children's clothing & footwear business, outdoor play equipment retailer, and more. We have been in business for 75 years in Mamaroneck and over 100 years in New York!

The job candidate must:

• have 10 years bicycle mechanic experience
• have a knowledge of all types of bikes, including SRAM AXS and Shimano Di2 systems, and basic e-bike systems
• enjoy working with young families
• be punctual and professional
• have a knowledge of all types of bikes
• be willing to learn new products and categories

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
