Responsible for leading and governing the Bid Control Process across Giza Systems, ensuring all bids comply with internal policies, risk frameworks, and the Delegation of Authority (DOA). It ensures alignment with customer requirements, pricing standards, and risk policies, while supporting the submission of high-quality, competitive proposals that drive sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead risk assessments and commercial reviews for high-value and strategic bids.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Technical to ensure proper alignment of bid documentation, risk evaluations, and contractual requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Bid Control team, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring high performance and continuous growth.
- Track KPIs such as bid cycle times, win/loss ratios, compliance rates, and risk trends.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of bid records and documentation systems.
- Continuous improvement, identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce bid cycle time, and improve compliance.
- Enforce the four-eyes principle (dual authorization) across all bid approvals.
- Maintain and regularly update the Bid Control Process to reflect evolving business needs, regulatory requirements, and risk policies.
- Drive organization-wide adherence to the Bid Control Process through audits, training sessions, and change management initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as win/loss ratio, bid cycle time, and risk trend analysis.
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Sales, Technical, and Delivery teams to ensure a holistic approach to risk evaluation.
- Act as the primary escalation point for bid-related risk issues or disputes regarding approval decisions.
