Sudlows Consulting is looking to recruit a Bid Manager based in Dubai.


Responsibilities

  • Leading the Bid Process from initiation to completion and ensuring compliance with the FIDIC requirements, Company’s Policies and Industry Standards.
  • Reviewing the RFPs received from the Clients and narrating the Technical Scope of Work required.
  • Liaising with Clients to define the Employer Requirements.
  • Releasing Queries to the Clients to clearly define the scope of works.
  • Reviewing Contractor's Bids, responding to Bid Queries, issuing Clarifications and providing Scoring Matrix upon Final Technical Bids.
  • Preparation of Comprehensive Contractual Documents including but not limited to: Employer Requirements, Specifications, B.o.Qs, etc.
  • Liaising with Clients to define the Employer Requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with hyperscalers requirements .
  • Collaboration with the project team to develop Bid Documents.
  • Ensuring Quality and Accuracy of Bid Submissions on a timely manner.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimisation.
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards related to the Bidding Process such as POMI, FIDIC, CSI, BSI, etc
  • Identifying the risks associated with Bid Submissions, Contracts, etc.


Minimum Requirements

  • Multidisciplinary building systems experience
  • AutoCAD 2013/2023 proficient
  • Ability to quickly absorb and utilize company-specific techniques, standards and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills essential for team-based working
  • Excellent planning and organization skills are required for our fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet tight deadline.
  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor preferred
  • Background on differences between the Contract types.
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards related to the Bidding Process such as POMI, FIDIC, CSI, BSI, etc
