Job Title: Tender & Marketing Specialist

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 PM
We are seeking a Tender & Marketing Specialist to lead the company’s bid writing and marketing efforts. This role will involve preparing high-quality tender applications, proposals, and bids while also developing marketing strategies to promote our services. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, research, and marketing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to business growth.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Tender & Bid Writing (60%)
- Identify relevant tender opportunities through government portals, procurement websites, and market research.
- Prepare and submit high-quality bids, tenders, and proposals that align with our services and client requirements.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure compliance with tender specifications and eligibility criteria.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to gather necessary information, case studies, and supporting documents for bids.
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, including tender writing, proofreading, submission, and follow-ups.
- Track tender submission deadlines, ensure timely submissions, and monitor bid outcomes.
- Maintain a tender database of previous submissions, feedback, and success rates for continuous improvement.
Marketing & Business Development (40%)
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our services and generate new business leads.
- Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content.
- Oversee social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
- Manage the company’s website updates, blogs, and SEO strategies to attract potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and procurement professionals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Requirements:
Essential:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in bid writing, tender submission, or proposal writing.
- Strong marketing background, including digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling content.
- Strong research and analytical skills to understand bid requirements and market trends.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools such as Canva, MailChimp, or WordPress.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
Desirable:
➕ Experience in the language services, translation, or interpretation industry.
➕ Knowledge of public sector procurement and framework agreements.
➕ Familiarity with graphic design tools, SEO, or CRM systems.
