The finance controller is responsible of bids and controlling of the different projects, producing accurate financial information, analysis, controls and reports. Financial Controller is accountable for different civil bids activities and controlling financial matters related to projects by applying highest standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage and control all financial aspects of the projects.

Provide the Project Manager and his/her hierarchy with all necessary financial data and any information of possible consequence, act as a business partner of the Project Manager.

Forecasting, budgeting, Control. Financial Variance Analysis and reporting

Review cost estimates and ensure a reliable explanation of the EAC and the variance between EAC’s exercise
- Manage contingencies and provisions for contractual and financial risks

Analyze work in progress and reviews program expenditure (expenses correctly accounted for, authorized contingencies, invoices, etc.).

Optimizes and monitors sales, margins
-
Implement IT financial tools to monitor the projects (project cockpit, SAPbyDesign) and provide the necessary information to allow the PMO to implement PCM for the project

Ensure the invoicing in due time and cash collection

Maintain project cost breakdown structure

Consolidate project figures of all entities (worldwide) involved in the project or provide the necessary information in due time to the entity in charge of the consolidation.

Closing: Manage in SAP by Design & provide the necessary information (order intake, sales, CGM, AGM, variances analysis, Cash-in, OCF) to all stakeholders in due time to the Dubai finance organization.

Civil Bids: Manage the Civil bid process with the different stakeholders to ensure the proper finance review and contribution

Reporting: Manage & transmit the necessary information (budget, forecast, R/O, variance analysis, BOR…) to all stakeholders
- MYB: Manage the process for the project she/he is responsible for and provide the necessary information to the Dubai based regional reporting and budgetary control organization

CASH/OCF: Manage the cash of the country & specific projects (Cash-in and Cash-out), forecast cash flow and improve/optimize OCF with Operations, review working capital requirements.

Budgetary Control: Liaise with the Dubai based regional reporting and budgetary control organization and provides all necessary information (workload, productivity, share the workload plan –mobilization/demobilization) to allow a proper monitoring of the Structure and its efficiency.

Offset: Be responsible for UAE offset finance points.

Finance Point of contact for Operations Business Partner role with operations on different finance topics

Finance Team player: Ensure convergence to “best in class” Finance organization by adequate professional behavior strong accountability and cooperation spirit
- Finance Transformation: Participate actively to the Finance Modernization initiatives in the Region: shared services, reporting simplification, roles of controllers, agile tools, SAPbD improvements etc
Work Experience Requirements:
- Used to work as Project Financial Controller in similar sector.

Qualification, Certification and Educational Requirements:

Finance/Accounting Degree with 5 years' experience.

Good communication skills.
