Overview We are seeking a skilled Bike Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in bike maintenance and customer service. As a Bike Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that bikes are in optimal condition for our customers. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is well-versed on industry offerings, is a strong communicator, and will be held accountable to supporting our initiatives aimed at elevating the overall service we provide to its customers and the local community daily.

Duties

• Build bikes according to factory specifications and customer needs
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of bikes
• Assemble, suspend, and cycle components as necessary during repair processes
• Assist in sales of bikes, parts, and services, providing recommendations based on customer needs
• Diagnose mechanical issues with bikes using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
• Maintain accurate records of services performed
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients
• Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic with a strong background in bike maintenance
• Proven experience in customer service and sales
• Proficiency in using various bike tools and diagnostic equipment
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Mountain Bike Supply provides excellent compensation packages for its employees. The compensation offered is based on several factors including years of experience, positive performance evaluation, and overall expertise.
