MARINE Powersports Technician

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed diagnostics using automotive and powersports-specific tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Conduct repairs including engine overhauls, brake replacements, suspension adjustments, and welding as needed to restore vehicles to optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and welding gear to assemble parts or repair damaged components efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records, complete inspection reports, and document repairs thoroughly for transparency and quality assurance.
• Assist customers with technical questions, explain repair procedures clearly, and recommend maintenance or upgrades to enhance vehicle longevity.
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake servicing, and suspension tuning to ensure safety standards are met.
• Lift heavy components safely during repairs and adhere strictly to safety protocols while working with high-powered machinery or performing heavy lifting tasks.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background working on powersports or automotive vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
• Experience in vehicle assembly, suspension work, brake repair, and general automotive repair is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Prior experience with automotive or powersports sales is a plus but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
