Bike Rider-Home Healthcare Support

Job Summary

The Bike Rider is responsible for providing safe, timely, and reliable transportation of nursing staff, medical supplies, and equipment for home healthcare services. The role includes maintaining cold-chain compliance for medical items, handling payments, and ensuring accurate delivery documentation in accordance with Halcyon Medical Centre operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport nurses and authorized medical staff to and from patient locations as scheduled.
• Deliver medical supplies, IV drips, medicines, and equipment safely and on time.
• Ensure strict cold-chain compliance for temperature-sensitive medical items during transit.
• Handle cash and digital payments from patients, where applicable, and submit them as per company policy.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and payment documentation.
• Ensure safe custody of medical supplies and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and Halcyon Medical Centre operational SOPs.
• Keep the motorcycle in good working condition and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, operations team, and supervisors for efficient service delivery.
• Assist in basic logistical support as required for home healthcare operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum middle / matric level education (preferred).
• Valid driving license for motorcycle (mandatory).
• Personal bike preferred (fuel and maintenance reimbursement as per policy).
• Prior experience in delivery or healthcare support services is an advantage.
• Ability to handle cash and digital payment methods responsibly.
• Familiarity with city routes and use of navigation applications.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Understanding of cold-chain handling and care of medical supplies (training may be provided).
• Basic record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Trustworthy, disciplined, and patient-focused attitude.

Working Conditions

• Field-based role involving frequent travel.
• Exposure to traffic and environmental conditions.
• Compliance with safety, hygiene, and confidentiality protocols is mandatory.

The Bike Rider shall maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and comply with Halcyon Medical Centre policies, healthcare safety standards, and applicable laws.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
