Bilingual Case Manager/Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Experienced Case Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cases from initial client contact through resolution, ensuring that all aspects of the case are handled efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of personal injury law. The Case Manager will work closely with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to facilitate case progress and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients to gather necessary information and assess their needs.
  • Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with clients, attorneys, and external parties.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Write clear and concise case notes, correspondence, and reports.
  • Conduct legal research utilizing tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents under the supervision of attorneys.
  • Proofread all written materials for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Monitor case progress and deadlines to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings or trials.
  • Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a legal setting preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to extract pertinent information from clients.
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and maintaining professional communication at all times.
  • Experience in clerical tasks, including document preparation and organization.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law, insurance coverage, and product liability.
  • Experience with motor vehicle collision claims, slip and fall cases, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases.
  • Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis or similar legal research tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using legal case management software.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communications.
  • Ability to draft legal documents accurately under guidance from attorneys.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
