Legal Assistant

Note: 1-2 Years of Work Experience in California is preferred.

Azizian Law, PC is looking for a motivated, curious, and proactive addition to our team in our Los Angeles office. We are looking for a Case Manager to work closely with the owner of the firm on legal and preform administrative tasks. Experience in the legal industry is preferred, but not required. Position will be responsible for handling personal injury cases. Their duties include but are not limited to: opening and setting up new client files, opening and reporting claims to insurance companies, drafting letters, communication with medical offices, assisting clients and keeping a clear and organized communication with our internal team at all times.

Requirements

● Strong writing and proofreading skills.

● Excellent and adaptable communication skills with Azizian Law team members and clients of all backgrounds.

● Experience with court filings and procedures is preferred but not required.

● Preparing exhibits, working with a legal secretary for scheduling depositions & calendaring court appearances and deadlines.

● Drafting discovery and editing pleadings.

● Research federal, state, and local rules.

● Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential to this role.

● Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Education:

● Bachelor's (Preferred)

License/Certification:

● Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)

Experience:

● Personal Injury Litigation: 1-2 years (Preferred)
