Job Description

EL Taco Express is looking for a bilingual Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and is able to multi task in a fast paced environment. Cashiers are responsible for making payments, answering phone calls, taking orders, light cleaning, providing excellent customer service, and other duties that may arise over time.

Essential Functions:

• Make payments on credit cards, cash, and write checks.
• Fulfill orders via third party apps such as UberEats, GrubHub & Door Dash.
• Answer customer questions about our products and services.
• Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner and responding with the appropriate solutions or services in a courteous manner.
• Handle customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Maintain the tidiness of the work area.
• Be familiar with all the food options that we offer.
• Assist customers by providing information about food, answering questions, or taking other calls when necessary.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as outlined in company handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education:
·Previous experience in customer service or cashier is preferred but not required.
·Previous experience working with money is preferred but not required.
·A minimum of 18 years of age is required;
·A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a retail environment or restaurant

Pay: $17.00 per hour
